
You need a valid certificate of sponsorship from a UK-linked business, prior overseas work for that employer, an eligible job, and the required minimum salary.
To qualify, the overseas business expanding into the UK must hold the relevant sponsor licence and issue you a valid certificate of sponsorship confirming your role, salary and start date.
You must also have worked for the linked overseas business for a qualifying period, do a job that appears on the list of eligible occupations, and be paid at least the required minimum salary for the role. The route is specifically for staff sent to establish a UK presence for a business that does not yet trade here.
