Do language skills help me qualify as an Other Key Worker, and which languages count?

Language ability is one of the strongest categories in the points test, worth up to 25 points. German is rewarded at increasing levels (A1, A2, B1), and English is also credited at A2 and B1. Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Bosnian, Croatian, or Serbian at B1 can add further points.

There is also a bonus where English is the primary working language of the company. Because language can supply a meaningful share of the 55 points needed, certifying your language levels before applying is often a practical way to strengthen a borderline profile.
