Can my spouse or family join me while I study in Lithuania?

Recent rules allow family members of foreigners studying for a master's or doctoral degree to apply for a temporary residence permit on the basis of family reunification. This also extends to those who have completed such studies and hold a job-search permit.

For shorter or lower-level programmes, family reunification may not be available on the same basis. Check the current eligibility for your specific programme level and prepare the income and accommodation evidence that family reunification normally requires.
