It is aimed at highly qualified IT or marketing work done remotely - either as an employee of a foreign employer, or as a freelancer holding a Czech trade licence in IT-related services or marketing.
The programme is designed for two profiles. The first is a remote employee who stays employed by a foreign employer and performs highly qualified IT or marketing work for that company while living in the Czech Republic. The second is a freelancer who holds a Czech business (trade) licence in IT-related services or marketing.
General remote work outside these fields does not fit the programme. The work must be genuinely high-skilled IT or marketing activity. If you are a freelancer, you will need to arrange the appropriate Czech trade licence, which is a separate step from the immigration approval itself.
