Is there a separate limit for on-campus work, and does it count toward the 24 hours?

On-campus work for eligible full-time students is treated differently from off-campus work. The 24-hour weekly limit applies to off-campus work during academic sessions; on-campus work does not have the same fixed weekly cap.

To work on campus you must be a full-time student at an eligible institution with a valid study permit that authorizes work and a SIN. Even though there is more flexibility on hours, you are still expected to actively pursue your studies, so work should not interfere with maintaining full-time status.
