If your application is refused you are told the reasons and can usually request a review of the decision within the stated time limit, and most of the fee is refunded on an unsuccessful application.
A refusal is not necessarily the end of the road. The decision letter sets out the reasons, which often relate to documentation, salary thresholds, or whether the occupation qualifies.
You can typically submit a request for review within the specified period, addressing the issues raised. In addition, where an employment permit application is unsuccessful, the majority of the application fee is refunded. Correcting the specific problem and reapplying, or seeking a review, is often the practical next step.
