An IEC permit is for the individual participant only; dependants are not admitted under your IEC application, though a spouse may explore their own separate work or study route.
IEC is a youth-mobility program designed around a single participant, and your application cannot include accompanying dependants. You are expected to meet entry requirements on your own, including showing you have enough funds to support yourself when you arrive.
If you want your spouse or partner to join you, they would generally need to qualify for their own status in Canada, for example their own IEC profile if they are eligible, a separate work permit, or a study permit. It is best to plan each person's status independently rather than assume a family can travel on one IEC permit.
