The HPI visa is granted for 2 years if you hold a bachelor's or master's level qualification, or 3 years if you hold a PhD or other doctoral qualification.
You cannot extend the HPI visa. To stay in the UK afterwards you would need to switch into another route, such as the Skilled Worker visa, before your HPI visa expires. Plan ahead, because once it ends you cannot get a second one.
