You need a genuine, full-time, non-seasonal job offer from an employer in a participating community, paying at or above the Job Bank prevailing wage for the occupation.
A qualifying job offer is the backbone of both pilots. It must be genuine, full-time and non-seasonal, meaning consistent, regularly scheduled paid employment throughout the year rather than temporary or seasonal work.
The wage must meet or exceed the prevailing wage shown on Canada's Job Bank for the job's NOC occupation. The employer must be located in one of the designated communities, and the community's economic development organization must be willing to recommend you. Self-employment and offers from non-participating areas do not qualify under these pilots.
