These are employer-sponsored government programmes — Highly Qualified Workers, Qualified Workers, and Key and Research Staff — that give applicants guaranteed embassy slots, simplified documents and, for key staff, faster processing. Workers still receive a standard permit such as the Employee Card or Blue Card.
Czechia runs government economic-migration programmes administered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and CzechInvest. They do not create new permit types — participants still receive a standard permit such as the Employee Card, EU Blue Card or ICT Card. What the programmes add is a guaranteed slot to lodge the visa application at a Czech embassy, simplified documentation, and, for the Key and Research Staff Programme, accelerated processing with a visa decided within 30 days.
To take part, the employer must meet programme conditions — for example years in operation, no public-debt arrears and a minimum number of staff — and the role must fit the relevant programme by qualification level (and, for the qualified-worker programme, eligible nationalities). Inclusion is approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade or CzechInvest, and there is no legal entitlement to be admitted. The applicant must still meet the underlying permit's requirements.
Conditions and eligible nationalities are updated periodically, so confirm the current programme details on ipc.gov.cz. ACME can help an employer assess whether it qualifies and guide staff through the linked permit application.
