The single permit (jednolite zezwolenie) is Poland's main work route for non-EU nationals: one decision by the voivode that combines residence and work authorisation in a single document. You generally need a job offer and an employer declaration confirming the role and pay.
Poland's Temporary Residence and Work Permit — the single permit, or jednolite zezwolenie na pobyt czasowy i pracę — is the most common way for third-country nationals to live and work in Poland. Its strength is that one decision by the voivode (the provincial governor) covers both residence and employment, so you do not need a separate residence permit and work permit.
To qualify you generally need a valid travel document, an employer attachment or declaration confirming the job, pay and conditions, pay at or above the applicable minimum for the role, and health insurance with a stable source of income. The application is made to the voivodeship office (urząd wojewódzki) for the region where you live, and it is the standard route for workers staying longer than three months.
Because the permit ties you to the employer and the conditions in the decision, significant changes such as losing your job need to be reported. ACME can help you and your employer assemble the declaration and supporting documents, and we always suggest confirming the current requirements on the official government portals before you apply.
