The India Young Professionals Scheme is a temporary cultural and work exchange route and is not a path to settlement. Time spent on this visa does not count towards indefinite leave to remain.
However, many people use the 2 years to gain UK work experience and find a sponsoring employer. If you secure an eligible job, you may be able to switch into the Skilled Worker visa, which can lead to settlement, before your Young Professionals visa expires. Plan the switch early so you do not have to leave the UK.
