Places on the India Young Professionals Scheme are limited and allocated through a ballot. Before you can apply for the visa, you must enter the ballot during one of its set windows by submitting basic details and confirming your eligibility.
If you are selected, you will receive an email invitation and must then submit your full visa application within the time limit stated in that email, paying the application fee and healthcare surcharge. Entering the ballot is free, but being selected does not guarantee a visa; you still have to meet all the eligibility requirements.
