Researchers are not held to the fixed pay thresholds used in some other schemes, but your salary and terms of employment must still correspond to Danish standards for the role.
The Researcher scheme does not apply the specific annual salary limit found in, for example, the Pay Limit Scheme. Instead, the focus is on whether your pay and conditions are normal for a comparable researcher position in Denmark.
When this is assessed, monetary salary and labour-market pension contributions are what count; benefits in kind such as housing, a car, phone or subscriptions are not included. So your cash remuneration needs to look reasonable against Danish norms for the post.
