You can visit as often as you like within the 12-month validity period and stay up to 3 months on each entry.
The Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601) is a multiple-entry visitor authority valid for 12 months.
Within that 12-month period you can travel to Australia as many times as you wish, and you can stay for up to 3 months each time you enter.
The ETA is for short-term visits only, so it is not designed for long continuous stays. If you need to stay longer than 3 months at a time, a different visitor visa may be more appropriate.
