Work classified under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 counts; lower-skilled occupations do not qualify.
Qualifying CEC experience must fall under the National Occupational Classification in TEER categories 0, 1, 2, or 3 (for example, management, professional, technical, and skilled occupations). Your duties must match the lead statement and most of the main duties listed for that occupation. Experience in TEER 4 and 5 occupations does not qualify. The job classification, not just the job title, determines whether the experience counts, so it is worth confirming the correct NOC code for each role.
