After completing your studies, Slovenia allows recent graduates a short additional period of stay to seek employment or set up a business. This gives you time to find work that matches your qualification without having to leave the country first.
If you secure a job, you can move onto an employment-based residence permit, and such applications can generally be made from within Slovenia. Plan the switch before your study permit expires, because the conditions and required documents for a work permit differ from those for studying.
