One of the biggest advantages of the Critical Skills permit is family reunification. Your spouse, partner and dependants can apply to join you, and immediate family of Critical Skills holders are treated favourably in that process.
Once resident, eligible spouses and partners can obtain a Dependant/Partner/Spouse permission that allows them to take up employment without needing their own occupation-specific permit.
