The MPRP is family-oriented. Beyond a spouse and children, you can include a parent or grandparent of the main applicant or of the spouse, provided they can prove to the satisfaction of the Minister that, at the time of application, they are principally dependent on the main applicant.
Adding these older dependants carries an extra cost - a non-refundable fee of EUR 5,000 per parent or grandparent. Because dependency must be demonstrated, keep clear documentary evidence of financial support when you build your application.
