Croatian nationals and third-country nationals with permanent stay, temporary stay, long-term residence or international protection can sponsor, but holders of seasonal work permits cannot.
Croatia lets a range of residents bring close family. Eligible sponsors include Croatian citizens, third-country nationals with permanent stay or EU long-term residence, third-country nationals with temporary stay, and people who have been granted international protection.
There are clear exclusions. Someone holding a seasonal work permit, or temporary stay granted for certain other limited purposes, cannot act as a sponsor for family reunification. The type of status you hold therefore directly affects whether and when you can bring relatives.
