Family members are not covered automatically by your Hungarian Card; they apply separately under Hungary's family reunification rules, and a standard family permit does not by itself allow them to work.
The Hungarian Card factsheet does not provide automatic dependent rights, so family members do not derive status directly from your card. Instead, your spouse and minor children apply through Hungary's separate residence permit for family reunification, with you as the sponsor.
Keep in mind that a standard family reunification permit grants residence but not the right to work; a family member who wants to work must use the combined single application procedure. Planning the family's applications alongside your own helps everyone's permits and timelines line up.
