The Super Visa is limited to the parents and grandparents of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Dependants of a parent or grandparent generally cannot be included on the same Super Visa application, and the program is not for other relatives.
Applicants must be found admissible to Canada, complete an immigration medical exam, and satisfy an officer that they will leave at the end of their authorized stay. They must also provide proof of the qualifying medical insurance and a letter of invitation from the host, who must meet the income requirement.
