Once you have submitted your long residence indefinite leave to remain application, you must stay within the UK and the Common Travel Area (Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) until you get a decision.
If you travel outside that area before the decision, your application is treated as withdrawn and you will not get a refund. Because standard processing can take several months, plan any essential travel carefully, or consider the priority service if it is available for your application.
