How much money do I need to show as a student to satisfy immigration requirements?

A condition of student permission is that you can support yourself without claiming State benefits. For a course of study lasting one year, you must show that you have access to EUR 10,000.

For courses resulting in a stay of roughly six to eight months, you must show access to EUR 833 per month, for example a total of EUR 4,998 for a six-month stay or EUR 6,665 for an eight-month stay. You must also hold private medical insurance.
