Do I have to live in or even visit Dominica to qualify under the EDF route?

Historically the EDF route has not required applicants to reside in Dominica. However, every applicant aged 16 and older must attend a mandatory interview as part of due diligence. In June 2026 the CBI Unit announced plans to introduce an in-country visit requirement for applicants; this is a forthcoming change rather than a long-standing rule, so confirm the current position with an authorised agent before applying.
