Minor, unmarried children who usually live with you can acquire French nationality at the same time, provided they are named in your naturalisation decree.
French naturalisation can extend to your minor children, but it is not automatic just because you are naturalised. The child must be unmarried, must habitually live with you, and must be expressly named in your decree.
The child's age is assessed on the date the decree is signed, so timing matters. Make sure you list each eligible child in your application with the required civil-status documents. A spouse, by contrast, is not naturalised through your file and must apply separately if they wish to become French.
