A common mistake is assuming any small stake qualifies; each participant in a joint investment must contribute at least US$400,000, and the joint total must reach US$5,000,000.
In a joint Business Investment, the rules set both a floor per person and a floor for the group. Each participant must contribute no less than US$400,000, and the combined investment from at least two persons must total a minimum of US$5,000,000. Applicants sometimes underestimate one of these two thresholds.
Another frequent error is treating the business approval and the citizenship approval as a single quick step. They are sequential: Cabinet must approve the business first, and only then does the citizenship application advance, with strict payment deadlines after the approval letter. Plan the structure and the cash flow with a licensed agent before committing.
