What documents does the Romanian business long-stay visa application require?

At the visa stage the consulate expects a defined set of documents. The centrepiece is the technical opinion on your business plan from the Romanian investment and foreign-trade authority, which evidences that your project has been vetted.

Alongside this you submit a criminal record certificate, travel medical insurance with at least EUR 30,000 of cover, and proof of where you will stay in Romania. A visa fee also applies.

Documents often need translation and legalisation, and a missing or expired item is a common cause of delay, so assembling a complete, current file before booking your appointment is important.
