Do EU/EEA citizens need a work permit to work in Norway?

Because of the EEA agreement, EU/EEA nationals do not require a residence permit or work permit to take a job in Norway. Your right to work comes from your EU/EEA citizenship.

What you do need to do is register under the EU/EEA scheme if you stay beyond three months. The registration certificate confirms your status; it is not a work authorisation in the way a non-EEA work permit would be.
