The visa expiry date is the last day you may use it to travel to a US port of entry; your permitted stay is set separately on the Form I-94 at entry.
A common and costly mistake is assuming the date on the visa stamp is how long you can stay. The visa is only travel permission valid until its printed expiry; it can be valid for several years and allow multiple trips.
What actually controls how long you may remain is the Form I-94 admission record issued each time you enter. Overstaying the I-94 date, even while the visa is still valid, makes you out of status and can trigger bars on returning to the US. Always check your electronic I-94 after each entry and plan your departure or extension around that date, not the visa expiry.
