Can I switch from an ICT permit to another type of permit while in Ireland?

The ICT permit is tied to your transfer and your overseas employer, so switching is more constrained than with other permits. However, there is some flexibility, especially for trainees.

Trainees may be able to transition to a Critical Skills or General Employment Permit during an initial employment period, provided they secure a qualifying job offer and meet that permit's eligibility and salary requirements.
