You will need your passport, biometrics, and supporting evidence of your marriage or civil partnership plans and that you will leave the UK afterwards.
As part of the application you provide your biometric information (fingerprints and a photo) at a visa application centre and bring your passport.
You should also include evidence of your genuine intention to marry or register a civil partnership - such as confirmation of the venue and ceremony arrangements - and evidence that you intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit. Strong, well-organised documents help show your visit is genuine.
