Does the Senior or Specialist Worker visa count towards settlement?

Like other Global Business Mobility routes, the Senior or Specialist Worker visa is a temporary route for intra-company transfers and is excluded from settlement. You cannot apply for indefinite leave to remain while on it.

If settlement matters to you, you would typically need to move to a route that does lead to permanent residence, such as the Skilled Worker visa, and then build up the required continuous residence on that route. Plan any switch well ahead of your visa expiry.
