Apply in person no later than the last day of your current legal stay in Poland; submitting on time keeps your stay lawful while the case is processed.
Timing is critical. You should lodge your application with the competent voivode no later than the final day of your lawful residence. If you apply on time, your stay generally remains legal while a decision is pending, even if your current permit expires in the meantime.
Applying late can leave you without legal status and jeopardise the whole application. Because business cases often require extra documents and clarifications, give yourself a buffer well before your deadline so you have time to gather financial records, company documents, and proof of insurance.
