There are several routes — including long-term lawful residence, Polish origin, holding a Karta Polaka, or being the spouse of a Polish citizen — applied for through the voivode.
Yes. A lawfully resident non-EU sponsor can usually bring a spouse and minor children through a family-reunification residence permit.
Yes. The study permit generally lets you work without a separate work permit, and after graduating you can move onto a work route such as the single permit. Years of lawful residence can also count towards settled status over time.
The main business route is the Temporary Residence Permit for Business Activity, for entrepreneurs, company directors and partners. The business must meet a viability or job-creation test, and you must show stable income and proper company documentation.
It is a document confirming Polish heritage for eligible people of Polish descent. It is not a residence permit but gives a fast track to permanent residence and later to Polish citizenship.
