After completing an eligible programme you can apply for a residence permit to look for work in Denmark. Depending on your programme, this establishment/job-search period is granted for either six months or up to three years. During this period the same work limitations as during your studies apply until you secure qualifying employment and switch to a work-based permit. This is a key bridge toward longer-term stay and, eventually, permanent residence.
