A negative decision can be challenged through an objection or appeal, and you should act within the deadline stated in the decision letter.
If the IND refuses your EU Blue Card application, the decision letter explains the reasons and your options. You can generally lodge an objection or appeal against a negative decision within the stated time limit.
Common refusal reasons include a salary below the Blue Card threshold, an unrecognised or insufficient diploma, or a contract shorter than six months. Before reapplying or appealing, it is worth confirming exactly which condition was not met so it can be corrected, and ensuring all foreign documents are properly legalised and translated.
