Higher-education students can work as an employee or self-employed without a separate permit, provided the work is compatible with their studies and does not exceed 30 hours per week.
For students enrolled in higher education, the student residence permit automatically authorises work in Spain. You do not need to apply for a separate work permit before taking a job.
The key conditions are that the job must be compatible with your studies and must not exceed 30 hours per week. Work that interferes with your course or goes beyond the permitted hours is not allowed under the student authorisation.
