Your profile is valid for 12 months. If you are not invited to apply within that period, it automatically expires and you can submit a new one.
Once you submit an eligible Express Entry profile, it stays active in the pool for up to 12 months. During that time you are ranked by your CRS score and can be invited in any round of invitations.
If you are not invited within 12 months, your profile expires automatically. You can create and submit a new profile if you still qualify, and it is often worth improving your CRS factors (language scores, education, work experience) before re-entering.
