An open work permit gives broad freedom to choose your employer, but there are two main exceptions. You cannot work for an employer that appears on the official list of employers who failed to comply with the conditions (the ineligible employers list).

Aside from these, you are generally free to work for any legitimate employer and to change jobs without applying for a new permit.
